Education
After growing up in Michigan and Indiana, Larry received his education at two of the finest universities in the United States. These two universities also happen to have the most wins in the history of college football. He received a BBA degree Cum Laude in 1970 from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Accounting and an MBA degree from the University of Michigan in 1973 with a double major in International Business and Finance.
Business Experience
Prior to founding Kuhl Financial Services in 1992 and Kuhl Investments Inc. in 1997, Larry worked in various capacities in the financial services industry. He worked for Ernst & Young, a major international accounting firm for 3 years in Detroit, Michigan from 1970 to 1973 and became a CPA in 1972.
After receiving an MBA degree in 1973, Larry began a 18 year career in the banking industry. He worked initially in commercial lending and later in bank management where he was a Vice President and later President of 3 different subsidiary banks of Comerica Bank, Irving Trust Company and Bank of New York. He spent 8 years of his banking career in Detroit, Michigan and 10 years in Toronto, Canada. In 1992 Larry and his family moved to Chicago, IL where he founded Kuhl Financial Services, a fee only comprehensive personal financial planning company. In 1997 Larry founded Kuhl Investments Inc., a registered investment advisor.

Larry has been active in professional organizations throughout his career.
Professional Designations
Larry participates in extensive continuing education in personal financial planning every year - at least 40 hours every year, usually much more to keep his skills at the highest level.
